The Sorel Ring plays with the circular designs of classic Cleopatra’s Bling styles such as the Thesis series. Named for Agnès Sorel, known as Dame de beauté who was the first official royal mistress and bore four daughters with King Charles VII of France. She inspired numerous artworks including Fouquet’s Virgin and Child Surrounded by Angels.
